Letter from the Chair

St. Albert 150th Anniversary
Celebration Committee
Join us in planning St. Albert’s 150th Anniversary!
The Anniversary Committee wants every St. Albert resident to be able to take part in an event, activity or be a volunteer during our year-long celebration. Although there were people here long before Father Lacombe and Bishop Tache decided to establish the St. Albert Mission Settlement, the main focus of our celebrations will be on the settlement years.
We encourage you to submit stories and photos about what you or your group will be doing in 2011 to help us celebrate St. Albert's 150th Anniversary. Through the collection of photos and stories the Committee will be able to preserve a record of the activities during 2011.
If you wish to submit relevent stories and photos prior to 2011, we will process them as well. Thank you for your interest. You will help preserve the present for the future.
We are looking forward to a homecoming, tournaments, galas, performances, storytelling, learning more about our history and the arts, picnics, geo caching, fireworks and cake ... lots of cake.
Please join us as we “cherish our past, honour our present and ignite the spirit of the future”
